I wish that this was my own idea but sadly, it isn't!

Today I'm here to tell you about a great gift idea for wedding guests that some of my own customers introduced me to, (thanks go to Joel and Jacqui!).

Joel and Jacqui live far away from me and they requested that I express post their tea order out to the other side of Australia. We got to chatting and I asked them, why the rush? Well, they were putting together these tea test tubes (see their image) for their wedding guests - and their wedding is just a couple of weeks away!

Happiness is a Red Teapot book, and red Zero Teapot.

They chose Monk Pear (a delicious black tea with bergamot, marigold and sweet pear aroma), and Lychee Magic (a green tea with fruity chunks of apple, calendula, cornflowers and natural lychee aroma) and were busily filling up the tubes with each tea. They'll be placing them on the tables at their wedding reception this November! How exciting!

I was thrilled for them and so delighted that they chose to use my tea for their purpose. I sent them a little "thank you" wedding gift present!

If you would like to do similar gift ideas for your wedding guests here are a few tips:

• Tea is a food product. You must have clean hands, clean utensils and clean food-grade containers to keep it in.
  
  
• Even though you are repackaging it, you really ought to label it correctly. For example; if you're using a flavoured tea make sure that your guests know the ingredients - you don't want someone to have an allergic reaction!
  
  
• Please remember the "best before" date. Tea does keep for a long time if it is airtight and dry.
  
  
• It is a nice idea to acknowledge the supplier (although not essential) so that your guests can know where to get more of the tea if they liked it!
